Below is the warranty explanation from Starboard HQ's user guide. How it actually applies depends on the product, purchase date, region and terms, so please check with where you bought it.
When you find a problem with your wing, it can be hard to know what to send first. Page 17 of the user guide explains making a claim through the store where you bought it and the materials needed to check it.
01. Tell the store where you bought it what happened
The original explains the warranty terms for manufacturing defects, covering the original purchaser who bought from an authorized dealer. It says actual claims go through the store where you bought it.
This page doesn't settle whether compensation applies in every situation in Korea. Tell them your purchase date, product and how it was being used, and check the terms and procedure that apply to that product.
02. Prepare three kinds of photos and your purchase record
Prepare a close-up photo of the problem, a photo where the serial number can be read, and a photo showing the overall condition of the product. You'll also need a receipt showing where and when you bought it.
A short note on when and in what situation the problem happened helps. Rather than sending lots of unclear photos, focus on clearly conveying the condition and what happened.
03. Read the term and the exclusions together
This PDF explains the 1-year term, the manufacturing-defect condition and exclusions such as collisions, contact with the foil and improper care. Don't assume every kind of damage is covered based on a single number.
Starboard HQ's current information also sets different terms by product and region. Contact the store before any repair or modification of your own, and check the terms that actually apply in Starboard HQ's information below and with where you bought it.

The page shown is from Starboard's original Wing User Guide (page 17); the explanation and tips for preparing an inquiry are Starboard Korea's commentary. The original's 1-year term is not confirmed as the legal warranty in Korea for every region and product; we link to the current policy and ask you to check with where you bought it.
