Innovation on the water, and the TIKI spirit behind it
30 years that began with the joy of being on the water
Starboard's 2024 range carries 30 years of experience and fun on the water. Over that time, we have been there as some of the most innovative products in watersports came into the world.
The iQFOiL range, set to feature on the Paris 2024 Olympic stage, is a clear example of that innovation.

THE TIKI STORY
TIKI: a face for fun and courage
The joy we share on the water has a familiar face.

Meet TIKI, the little symbol on a Starboard board. The original drawing came from New Caledonia, expressing the pleasure and courage of being on the water.
Its name draws on the mythical Tiki Vichara. The legend of his voyage from Peru to Polynesia, where he became known as the god of wind and water, inspired the symbol.
TIKI carries that playful, courageous spirit. The STARBOARD name carries a commitment to innovation and quality. Together, they express what the brand stands for.
Performance proven on the world stage
Starboard has won windsurfing world championships many times and has stayed at the top of stand-up paddleboard (SUP) racing and surfing. With more race wins and SUP surfing world titles than any other brand, it has proven its edge again and again.
Opening new possibilities on wind and water
That drive leads into new territory. The FreeWing range, created in collaboration between Starboard and Airush, has opened up another way to enjoy wind and water.
Add to that the innovative design of Starboard's industry-leading foil and wingboard ranges.
Our motto is innovation and quality.
Innovative design and construction, outstanding product quality, and the results that follow. That is what Starboard stands for.
Action for the planet in every board
In the 2024 season we again aim to be a brand that pushes the limits of innovation and quality, while taking responsibility for the impact our activities have on the planet.
For every board sold, the Plastic Offset Program team collects 1.4 kg of plastic from beaches in Thailand and Myanmar.
We also plant three mangrove trees per board, so that each board absorbs ten times the carbon it creates.
Toward better riding and a better planet
So far we have absorbed as much carbon as the footprint of the whole company. Going forward, our goal is to keep absorbing ten times our carbon footprint.
As we push the limits of watersports, we want to do our part for the climate.
